Webster City Mayor John Hawkins proclaimed Sept. 12 through 17 as Doodle Bug Days in Webster City Monday night at the Webster City City Council meeting. Doodle Bug Club members Vern Ratcliff, Jerry Wells, Jim Juon, and Don Nokes were present as Hawkins read and signed the proclamation.

“Each year for the past 30 years, the Doodle Bug Club of America has hosted an annual reunion of the club drawing attendance from all over the nation,” said Hawkins. “Webster City is fortunate to have the club select Webster City for their annual club convention each year which brings people to our great community.”
